What is the Sunburst City dragon series?

A colourful series of rhyming picture books for children aged 4-8.  Ten dragon friends live in secret and this set of ten books has a story about each dragon which builds a world for children to enjoy.  Designed to be read to younger children, and independently by older children, there are currently six books published.  As a bonus the Christmas story about Jack is also available in a colour your own version.  New for 2022 is a spin off story about Bridget, more below...  

Why meet the Sunburst City dragons?

It's about that sprinkling of magic that can make everyday a bit more joyous with great rhyming stories, bright, engaging illustrations.   More fun can be enjoyed by looking and listening for clues that dragons live near you.  We had a lot of fun with this idea and the dragons are a perfect way to inspire a sense of adventure when out and about.   These friends are wonderfully engaging, different colours, sizes and ages with different jobs and hobbies, and all fantastically helpful.   I love poetry and these books flow with rhyme and will introduce new words in a fun and friendly way.

Meet Bridget
